This Privacy Statement describes how the Health Promotion Board (“HPB”, “we”, “our” or “us”) may collect, use, and disclose your Information through the Parenting for Wellness website.
By using the Parenting for Wellness website and/or providing us with your Information (including Personal Data), you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your Information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. You agree to only submit Information which is accurate and not misleading and to keep it up to date and inform us of any changes to the Information that you have provided to us. Please do not provide us with any Information if you do not accept this Privacy Statement.
To safeguard your Information, all electronic storage and transmission of Information is secured with appropriate security technologies. We retain Information as may be required for business, legal, contractual, regulatory or compliance purposes, which may vary according to circumstances. We will take reasonable steps to dispose or anonymise Personal Data that is no longer needed.
We may from time to time update this Privacy Statement to ensure that this Privacy Statement is consistent with our future developments, industry trends and/or any changes in legal or regulatory requirements. As and when the contents of this Privacy Statement are updated or amended, the latest version will be uploaded on to the Parenting for Wellness website. Each time you use the Parenting for Wellness website and any updates, upgrades, new versions, documentation, content, and services provided by or through us, or contact, or interact with us, you acknowledge and agree that the latest version of this Privacy Statement shall apply. It is your duty to keep yourself updated as to the latest version of this Privacy Statement.
How do we collect and use your Information?
We collect your Information in the following ways:

When you submit your registration form on the Parenting for Wellness website, we will collect Information such as your email address, role, number of children and age range of children;

When you submit your responses via the questionnaire;

When you interact with our customer officers, for example, via telephone calls, emails and/or social media platform; and

d.
When you use our website, we may utilise technologies such as cookies to collect Information automatically either by us or by third parties on behalf of us, to understand usage information such as

the number of times a screen is viewed

(ii)
the duration of browsing the website in a session

(iii)
your learning progress (modules and topics read)

(iv)
your selection of modules

(v)
searches made in the website

(vi)
the pages visited and action taken on our website
While these technologies can tell us when you use the website and which pages you visit, it cannot read Information off your hard disk or mobile device. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. If you choose to modify your browser setting to decline cookies, please note that the Parenting for Wellness website will not function as intended for registered users. For example, you will not be able to log in and view your dashboard, and your account-related information (e.g., learning progress) will not be captured.
Such usage information will be used in a deidentified or anonymised manner for analytics and programme evaluation purposes only.

For what and to whom may we disclose your Information?
Unless prohibited by law, we may share Information with the Government of Singapore and/or Singapore public sector agencies for the purpose of facilitating efficient and effective public service delivery to you.
We may also share your Information with non-Government entities (third parties) where:

The recipient is our service provider who provides us with necessary services or services on our behalf including but not limited to IT services, hosting and maintenance services, and email messaging services;

The recipient is our consultant or professional adviser including but not limited to accountants, lawyers and auditors;

Required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena, regulatory oversight, or other legal process;
HPB reserves the right to change its third parties. Your continued use of the website therefore represents your agreement to the disclosure and use of your Information, where applicable, by third parties that HPB has service agreements with or is in collaboration with.
What happens if I want to close my account?
If you wish to close your account, you may do so by contacting us at hpb_mailbox@hpb.gov.sg. We may require that you provide certain information to process your request.
If you close your account, no additional information will be collected about you. However, Information that was previously collected or generated about you may continue to be used as described in this statement.
Linking to other websites and applications
From time to time, the Parenting for Wellness website provide links to other websites or applications, not owned or controlled by HPB, that we think might complement and enhance your experience with the website. This Privacy Statement applies solely to Information we collect through the Parenting for Wellness website. If you access or use a linked website or application, the privacy statement of that other website or application will apply to your access or use. We encourage you to review each such third party’s privacy statement as well as their terms of use. We are not responsible for the content and privacy policies or statements of those websites or applications.
